I was in the club a week ago and was wondering who is responsible for the web site.
Perhaps you would like to do it bilingual, in Irish as well as English?
If you really really have problems with this send me am email and I will endeavour to
translate it for you, it may take a bit of time though.
I suppose I should explain that I am Desmond Tennyson's, Colmcille, nephew and the cousin
of the other Desmond Tennyson (his son who some times works behind the bar. (Joe Nugent is
my mother's cousin Brigid Tennyson).
Yours
Muiris Mag Ualghairg (nó as Béarla [or in English] Maurice McGoldrick) |

Well done lads on a super effort. How did you ever convince Buddy
Holly, Scooper, Bosco and McNamee to move with the times. I suppose
it was Davy's influence or possibly it was discussed over a pint of Joe's
finest (if it was, it must have been a pint bottle) by Dessie Burke,
Borashega, Kevin Ra, Sambo and my dad. Anyhow, it was great to get a call from
a fellow Londoner (!) to inform me that Maghery now had there own web
site - congratulations. See you later.

P.S. Has Eamonn Toye's football really got that bad! He's reffered
to as Dermot in the 1991 championship side (I don't think Dermot
starting playing until '96).

Fellow GAA Follower's, I have just visited your site and all involved are to be congratulated. With my cousin's all involved with the Crossmaglen Rangers I, as a free state resident, am aware how difficult it can be to participate and support our national games in the six counties. It is a tribute to all involved that Ulster football has enjoyed such Dominance recently. With such a forward looking Club ,I am sure that success is not far away for Maghery! In addition to checking my own Club results, Nemo Rangers,I will now keep a watchful eyes on yours as well! Wishing you every success in the future. mise le meas, Gearoid. |

Dear Webmaster, I have recently visited your GAA website and I would like to suggest Bank of Ireland’s Football Championship site as a link. Your visitors might be interested in entering the competition to win VIP tickets to the big games. The URL is: http://www.boi.ie/boi/GAA/index.html We are also in the process of setting up a links page on the Bank of Ireland site, if you would like a reciprocal link, just e-mail me the URL. Thanks for your help and good luck with your site. Regards, Eamon Wynne. Internet Businesses, Bank of Ireland |
