Photos of the 2012 Loughshore 10k & 5K

Despite the forecasted weather for today's race more than 130 competitors registered to take part in the three events today.  In what turned out to be a lovely sunny afternoon more than 68 athletes took part in the 10K race, including many of our own club members.  The 10K race was won in 33minutes.

The 5K race was a great success for local competitors as the McConville twins, Neil and Lee took 1st and 2nd place respectively and Catríona Laverty was the second fastest female.

A large number of locals; men, women, children and pensioners included took part in the 5k Walk.  Local legend 'Annaghmore Harvey' picked up his own medal for completing the 5k walk.
