Forker goal sees Maghery through

HoganStand.com match report of Maghery v Mullaghbawn 1st Round Armagh SFC.
A late Paul Forker goal secured Maghery a place in the next round of the Armagh SFC in a low-scoring game at Abbey Park – the match finishing on a scoreline of Maghery 1-8, Mullaghbawn 1-4.
The Loughshore side led at the interval by 0-7 to 1-2, with Paul Kelly getting the goal for the South Armagh side.
James Lavery consolidated the Maghery lead on the turnover. It was then a stalemate for twenty minutes before Paul Forker grabbed his goal four minutes from time.
Maghery scorers were – Paul Forker 1-3, Stefan Forker 0-3 and S. Forker and J. Lavery 0-1 apiece.
Mullaghbawn marksmen were – P. Kelly 1-1, J. Ferris 0-2 and G. McCreesh 0-1.
